Larry Clark is an esteemed photographer and director most known for his book “Tulsa” and film “Kids”. Clark is a provocative artist who explores the eternal yet effervescent condition of “youth”. Clark’s work is confrontational and shocking, but never tawdry or sensationalist. He shows decadent, dangerous, and tantalizing truths we all know but tend to try to ignore. And he reminds us that facing those truths are indeed the trials and tribulations of growing up in America.
Media: Photos, Lookbook for Webstore
In the spring of 2014 Larry Clark and his manager were launching his official Instagram account and webstore. I was lucky enough to be in charge of Clark’s social media platforms and producing the visual content for them and his webstore. The photos were a simple, sunset-kissed homage to the feelings of nostalgia that Clark’s work evokes: Kids being kids, messing about outside on a roof in the Lower East Side.
